George Lawrence

Strength & Conditioning Coach

My name is George Lawrence, a MSc Strength and Conditioning student at Coventry University from which I will soon graduate and begin my UK Strength & Conditioning Accreditation (UKSCA).

Throughout my time working in S&C, I’ve had the opportunity of working with a range of sports athletes, as well as learning my craft under some of the most accomplished S&C practitioners within the industry. I’ve helped prepare athletes for competitions across all skill ranges ranging from beginner to international level, as well as working in injury rehabilitation.

Within S&C I’ve worked with athletes from different sports background including boxing, MMA, rugby, basketball, volleyball to name a few. I have worked closely with the university scholar team to help maximise athletes’ ability to perform at their highest physiological, biomechanics and psychological levels alongside recovery from injury. I personally put the physical aspect on the same level as the enjoyment side of sport, since having fun during your craft is mentally vital to being in a good spot within yourselves. As an S&C coach, being open to any personal conversations with people and building good rapport is something I pride myself with.
